Thank you for contacting us. We will get back to you as soon as possible
You
are the most influential educator, mentor, and coach that I've ever had
the good grace to meet and learn from. I'm sad that it's been so long
since I've seen you, but I hope you're doing well and enjoying
everything as much as ever!
Thank you so much for your
contributions to this activity and the lives of your debaters. You have
made more of a difference than even you may know.
Best Wishes,
Neal Valley
Dear George,
I
know you were involved in my choice as the Distinguished Alumni Awardee
at the DSR-TKE banquet on Sunday evening. I was truly honored to be
chosen and so grateful for all the years that I have been able to
participate in Forensic Union activities. You were my mentor at WSU for
both my BA and MA and I owe any success I enjoyed as a speech teacher
and coach to your wonderful training and advice. I am proud of WSU's
outstanding Forensic Program and will support it to my last breath. When
we finally get some nice weather here in Michigan, you can count on a
visit from the Nines, Gettoes, Pappases and Voisins once again. Thanks
again, and we will see you soon!
Art Voisin and Mary too!
Hi George-
We
miss you so much here! Thank you so much for everything you have given
to this activity. Your work made it so I actually had a chance and I
know that it is true for many others as well. Hopefully we will be
heading to Chicago in a few weeks and we will be able to stop by and
visit. I hope you are doing well and we will see you soon!

You
were a fundamental influence in my decision to return to graduate
school. You were the first person who had told me that I could teach
debate in the future if I only got my graduate degrees. It took a while
to start, but I am here because George Ziegelmueller said I should do
it. I remember your lectures still from when I was in high school at the
WSU debate camp. I cannot express the appreciation I have for how much
you have done for the community. Every time I walk by the trophy cases
at Manoogian Hall, I know that I am a part of a tradition that you
built, and could not be more proud. There is no place else I would
rather be than trying to carry on the tradition of success and education
at Wayne State University.

As
you know, i never participated with your debate team, but i remember
you fondly as a great teacher and as a winning influence with your
debaters that i hung out with - sharon howell and jack kay
particularly.
George, we have not seen each other in many years, but you are often in
my thoughts. Your guidance and mentoring always provided the Wayne
State students and assistants with needed direction. And I always
cherished our friendship. Best wishes to you and your family.
