Dr. Bonnie Perry was a member of the Wayne State Forensics team from 1963 to 1966 and was inducted into DSR-TKA in 1965.
Forensic career highlights include her 1966 Michigan State Women's Extemp Speaking Championship and National Novice Debate Championship team in 1964 (along with Vivan Dicks, Frank Mandelbaum, and David Rosenthal).
Currently, Dr. Perry is an adjunct professor of Communication at the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. She is also in her 21st year of coaching her local high school debate team at Harriton High School in Bryn Mawr, PA. Previously Dr. Perry operated her own communications research firm and provided major national brands with consumer attitude research and marketing direction.
Dr. Perry is currently Judge of Elections for her township and serves on the board of her civic association. She is an avid hiker and hike leader and also enjoys classical music and the fabulous Philadelphia Orchestra.
Dr. Perry’s B.A in English is from Wayne State University and her M.A. and Ph.D. are in Communication from Michigan State University.
